JRA Fukushima Racecourse
Fukushima City has a long and proud horse racing history. Established in 1918, Fukushima Racecourse is the only Japan Racing Association (JRA) racecourse in the Tohoku region. It features a 1,600 m grass course, a 1,444.6 m dirt course and a 2,750 m steeplechase course. Fukushima Racecourse hosts three race meetings every year (Spring, Summer, and Autumn). Each event runs for 6 to 12 days.
