Shiki no Sato
The spacious Shiki no Sato (Village of Four Seasons) agricultural park opened in 1995 and was modeled on a medieval European style. The park features a craft hall with a wide variety of craft workshops for kids and adults. You can paint your own kokeshi or creating a unique piece of jewelry. There is also a village market with a range of local seasonal produce, the Asahi beer hall and restaurant, the ‘Inaka-tei’ soba restaurant, a working water mill, a spacious park, herb garden, and the ‘Jabu-Chapu’ Pond that is a popular with young kids in summer. The water mill includes an ice-cream shop with a range of seasonal flavors.
