Shinkansen Services

The Tohoku Shinkansen gives convenient access to Toyko (~90 min) and Sendai (~25 min). The Yamagata Shinkansen runs from Fukushima to Yonezawa (~35 min), Yamagata (~75 min), and terminates at Shinjo (~125 min).

Adult (12+)   20,000 yen
Child (6-11)   10,000 yen
・Includes 5 days travel (within a 14-day period) on JR trains (and limited JR buses) in Tokyo and Tohoku areas.
・Children under 6 do not require a JR East Pass unless they require a seat reservation.
・Discount price (Adult 19,000 yen, Child 9,500 yen) available if purchased outside of Japan.
・Available from the View Plaza Ticket Office (East Exit, 1F) at Fukushima Station.
